CATHCART
Situated at the foot of the Windvogelberg Mountain, Cathcart grew out of a military post that was founded in 1850 and named after the then Governor of the Cape, Sir George Cathcart.

Cathcart is at the centre of a pastoral farming area that is noted for its beauty. The historic core is well preserved and the buildings still retain their original shop fronts. There are several hiking trails and game farms in the area.
